- Amelia Vaughan, the only surviving daughter of Mr. James Jones, of the Admiralty office, who came of a good old Gloucestershire family. An amateur connoisseur and collector of curios, Mr. Jones made a specialty of those in amber, which were ultimately acquired by the Trustees of the British Museum.
