1894 - Possible arrival in N.Z. from N.S.W. It is unlikely that this was an
assisted passage as they tapered out in the 1880's. It is probable that he
had some money and came to Australia/New Zealand with the intention of
buying freehold land to farm.
Land rights? are held in Nelson for as far down as Brunner. Robert m
listed as a land owner from 1902 in Taylorville.

Grand Daughter thinks that he became a farmer after mining and may be buried
in Taylorville.
The family believes that when he died his second wife left with all the money
and possessions. This was also commented on by John "Jack" WOOLLETT when we
visited him in Christchurch in August 1993.
