Note for:   Thomas Woollett,   ABT. 1660 - ABT. 1720         Index

Made a Freeman 16th September 1681.
Apprenticed to his kinsman Henry Woollett (c. 1625), Henry was a
threadtwister in Maidstone and Freeman.

Thought to be descended either from Thomas Woollett (christened 1616) or
Phillip Woollett (christened 1617). Given that Philip died before 1648
he cannot be the father. Also, it is likely that the first born son of
Thomas would be called Thomas.

I have shown this Thomas, for the purposes of this tree and printout, as
son of Thomas (c. 1616) but the uncertainty and lack of evidence must be
noted.

Thomas died between July 1720 and July 1721.

Mary Woollett, who may be his sister, married James Dadson of Maidstone
15th April 1673.

1681-1687 at High Street, Maidstone.
1688 & 1718-1720 at Week Street.

James Dadson Snr. was witness to Thomas Woolletts marriage licence
allegation - 26 Oct 1680.

James Dadson Jnr. was witness to James Woolletts will - 30 March
1726.[nickwool.FTW]
