Historical Information: Hythe, 68 miles south-east of London and three miles west of Folkestone, is on the south coast of Kent, and is one of the old Cinque Ports which existed before the Roman Conquest. It is now a market town, watering place, coast guard and life boat station. The cemetery is east of the town, near Seabrook, and it belongs to Hythe Borough Council. It contains war graves of both World Wars. There is 1 unidentified seaman of the Merchant Navy.
